Guacamole
Ingredients
- 2 ripe avocados
- 2 or 3 (or 8 or 16 :-) cloves garlic
- Juice of 1/2 a lemon or 1 lime
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1/2 tomato, chopped
Directions
- Cut avocados (dark green, slightly mushy) in half, remove pit, and scoop
out the flesh with a spoon into a small bowl.
- Crush garlic and add to avocado.
- Juice about half a lemon or one lime (or less- it's easy to overdo; you
can add more)
- Mash everything together (fork works well).
- Add onion and tomato.
- Mash/stir together.
- Cover and refrigerate for about an hour.
